STK 3811 1923 Ford Model T Replica Street Rod

This 1923 Ford T-Bucket replica is the classic hot rod as envisioned by the legend George Barris. Based on information provided by the Seller, the replica package was furnished to the original owner by Total Performance, Inc. of Wallingford CT in 1985. The comprehensive Total performance package included extensive body and chassis/suspension components. The fiberglass body was carefully finished in PPG Wineberry over Silver with accent pin stripping. It is equipped with a 2-piece windshield and custom removable soft top. Period-correct chrome Model T cowl lamp assemblies are also perfect accents and polished Weld alloy wheels (15x3.5f/15r) mount Mickey Thompson 'Sportsman' series radials. The interior is pure hot rod with stunning pleated black vinyl upholstery. Every detail is top-shelf and the dash contains a full set of analogue gauges. This roadster is also radio and heater delete. Again, based on information provided by the seller, horsepower is furnished by a 383ci Chevy stroker that was built by CHS Machine, Inc. The engine is fully chrome dressed and fitted with Mallory ignition, Edelbrock Torker-Plus cam, aluminum 'Offenhauser-style' Tunnel Ram Dual Quad intake and (2) Holley single-feed carburetors. Exhaust is routed through chrome tube-headers to free-flowing side pipes. Behind this strong 'Mouse' sits a GM Turbo400 3-speed automatic built by Gearstar Transmission and a chromed 8” Ford differential fitted with 3.36:1 gearing. The custom Total Performance chassis uses handsome chrome components everywhere. The front suspension consists of a dropped axle and transverse leaf spring w/modified radius rods. The rear axle setup utilizes multi-link Watts Linkage, radius rods and coil-over shocks. This package rides nicely and handles well. The chassis is fitted with manual steering and Wilwood front disc/drum brakes w/parking brake. This stunning '23 T-Bucket replica will soon become a great addition to someone's garage and a fun summer ride. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
