1984 BMW 5 Series 528e
Stk. 1332. 1984 BMW 5 Series 528e (PROJECT) The 1984 BMW 528E (economy) has long been a real favorite of German car fans. This would be a great project for anyone interested in a maintained mechanically and great driving sedan. Designed by BMW engineers to be not only a luxury 4-door, but also a miser on gas, this automobile gets 25 mpg city and 33-35 mpg highway with A/C. Engine was completely refreshed in 2003 when heads were machined and all new parts installed, new timing belt, new water pump, new bearings song with rings and oil pump and oil level sensor. This car has been driven approximately 10,000 miles a year since all of the above work was done. Suspension and brakes have been addressed and include new brake pads and rotors, new thrust bushings, new rear axels and new tires. A new clutch was installed in 2009. Conversion on the air conditioner to 134 has been done and works very well along with the installation of a new AM/FM CD stereo with new rear speakers.
